What is pilates?
Pilates is a form of movement based on the principles of Joseph Pilates. It is mainly concerned with stabilising and strengthening the core and challenging the core by moving the arms and legs.
What should I wear?
Wear something comfortable that you can move in, leggings or shorts as we will be moving in all directions. In Pilates we remove our shoes to get more feedback from the floor so socks or grippy socks are preferable but you can also go barefoot.
How long is the class?
Generally classes are 55-60 minutes long.
What do I need to bring with me?
Mats are provided in the venues, although you can bring your own mat for extra comfort. Bring some water with you to sip throughout the class.
